CUTEK’s Dispute Manager allows your credit union to systematically control and monitor disputes through a centralized process. The program allows for all Regulation E disputes including ACH, ATM, Bill Payment, point-of-sale, and signature transactions.
Dispute Manager stores information about each dispute and posts a credit or debit back to the member’s account. New disputes are initially placed into a provisional state. They may then be finalized (either approved or denied). Approved disputes are recorded on the account. Denied disputes have their provisional credit or debit reversed.
Through the use of a configuration file, these work flows can be enabled, or disabled separately. In addition, this configuration file controls the number of days to look back for transactions, which
categories are available for each work flow, the GL’s the items post to, and if there is a threshold amount to apply to a different GL. Your credit union can also select which security privilege groups may access Dispute Manager.
In addition, your credit union may add on-screen help for the work flow through the use of a self-configurable Help file.
Dispute Manager provides several reports to monitor new, approved and denied disputes. Additionally, an aging report is provided to show items. A nightly extract is also available for use with notices or mailings to members about disputes.
