.Net Product Support Programmer 1 Overview

Full-time position responsible for participating in customer installations and investigating support requests. Key skills include Microsoft .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and integrating with core banking platforms. Performs a variety of research and resolution tasks and fulfills company objectives to provide high levels of customer service.
Location: CUTEK’s San Antonio, TX or Escondido, CA offices

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

Assist customers and/or team members by providing accurate and timely responses to support and installation projects.
Responsible for effectively troubleshooting applications and installing CUTEK software to meet client needs.
  • Analyzes, reviews, enhances, and recommends enhancements to existing programs to increase operating efficiency.
  • Proposes estimates for statement of work documents for customer approval.
  • Performs a variety of complex programming tasks, such as designing, documenting, and reviewing existing application logic.
  • Assist with testing procedures for all customer deliverables.
  • Ensures that programming operations are performed in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
  • Documents and logs all work associated with assignments.
​​Responsible for maintaining and establishing high levels of project management with staff and management.
  • Participates and engages in project management activities including providing regular updates to the team project manager including reasons for support issues, resolution, project status, and deadlines.
  • Responds to company requests and ideas.
  • Resolves problems and concerns during client support and deployment. Provides assistance and training to other employees as needed. 
  • Ensures that application installations and ongoing support meets customer requirements and are completed on schedule.
  • Ensures that interactions with customers and other employees (emails, phone calls, other meetings) are clear, courteous and understandable.
  • Acts as a valued consultant and resource to customers.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination and working relations with staff and management.
  • Keeps management informed of significant challenges and of progress attained in reaching established objectives. Provides recommendations to establish new and more effective programs and future client needs. 
  • Assist with product and project deployments and support as needed.
  • Completes records and other required logs and project documents.
  • Attends and participates in meetings and phone calls as required.
Responsible for related duties as required or assigned.
  • Stays informed of changes in programming and related technology.
  • Ensures that the work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • 3 - 5 years of related experience is preferred.
  • Strong consideration given to having programming experience in the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated work experience with .NET (including CORE), React, SQL, HTML, Java and JavaScript including entity framework, Knockout.js and single page applications in a Visual Studio development environment. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well organized.
